The Public Relations Committee is made up of two subcommittees. The Public Relations committee seeks to provide assistance to National, States, and local chapters in implementing public relations by providing materials and programs to educate the public on the activities and events of SAR at all levels.
The government relations subcommittee identifies SAR members employed at all levels of the government within their communities and works to stimulate interest and involvement in SAR activities. The committee seeks appropriate and approved involvement by the SAR with committees organized by the United States Congress or the Executive Branch. It also organizes visits with SAR members of Congress for membership.
