SAR First Lady’s Project to Support “Echoes of Liberty” Project
The First Lady of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), Diane Lane, has announced that her 2026 First Lady’s Project will support the Echoes of Liberty Project, an innovative multimedia program designed to inspire young students to learn about the people, stories, and events of the American Revolution.
The Echoes of Liberty Project uses music and video to bring the history of America’s founding era to life for school-age children. Through engaging and accessible storytelling, the project seeks to spark curiosity among young audiences and encourage them to explore the history of the American Revolution and the sacrifices made by the men and women who fought for American independence.
The project aligns closely with the SAR’s longstanding commitment to educating future generations about the American Revolution and honoring America’s first veterans. As the nation prepares to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026, initiatives such as Echoes of Liberty provide new and creative ways to connect young Americans with the history of their country.
