Held every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the SAR Genealogical Research Library, located at 809 West Main Street in downtown Louisville, the interactive experiences will explore early American history through hands-on activities and rare historical artifacts.

Featured activities include:

  • American Flag History
  • Revolutionary War Artifact Discovery
  • Viewing the 1823 Stone Declaration of Independence

The program is designed to inspire curiosity and bring Revolutionary-era history to life for visitors of all ages.

“We are excited to welcome families into the SAR Genealogical Research Library this summer through the Cultural Pass Program,” said Rae Ann Sauer, SAR Director of Outreach and Education. “These interactive experiences allow visitors to connect with America’s founding story in meaningful and memorable ways while discovering the importance of preserving our nation’s history.”

Participation is free with a Cultural Pass. Families can download their pass through Louisville’s Cultural Pass Program website.
