SAR Center Interpretive Plan (Member's only)

Author: Michael Scroggins

Sold Light is pleased to present the National Society of the Sons of
the American Revolution (SAR) with the Final Plan, the final Planning
Phase deliverable for the SAR Exhibit Project.

We have taken your guidance and thoughtful revisions to the previous
deliverable to heart, and have spent the last several months working
with you to refine our approach to deliver your vision for the SAR
Center within your budget goal.

We have paid particular attention to the importance of this work in
supporting the SAR's Education Outreach programming. Many of the
features you will see in this plan could be used online and in
classrooms across the country.

The Interpretive Plan contains the following:

••A revised Visitor Experience, a narrative overview of what visitors
will see, experience, and interact with throughout the exhibition;

••Visualizations of the experience based on your feedback;

••Conceptual approaches for each media element, including immersive
environments, interactive media, and films, as well as NFC and augmented
reality technology;

••A refined and updated Interpretive Floor Plan.

The SAR Center will have world-class, professionally-designed exhibit
areas designed to inspire visitors to value their American citizenship.
Visitors, researchers, and scholars will be welcomed to enjoy, study
and use the SAR’s collections, artifacts, and exhibits space. When
completed, the Center will become one of the SAR’s most important gifts
