Virginia was well-represented at the 232nd anniversary commemoration of the Halifax Resolves in Halifax, NC on April 12. President General Bruce Wilcox was the principal SAR representative. He spoke briefly and presented a wreath on behalf of the National Society. Three other VASSAR members:  Former PG Roland Downing, Ron Dailey and Frank Horton (all dual members of the Col. Fielding Lewis Chapter), were also in attendance.
