VASSAR President-elect Art Batten presented the Virginia Society wreath during the 227th Anniversary commemorative program for the Battle of Kings Mountain.

Former VASSAR President Larry McKinley presented a wreath on behalf

of the Fairfax Resolutions Chapter.

Other Virginia Compatriots in attendance were VASSAR 2nd Vice President Bill Simpson (L)

who presented a wreath as President of the Captain Philip Slaughter Chapter, and his son,

Will, who presented a wreath on behalf of the Virginia Society, Order of Founders and Patriots.
