Information on the locations of some 54,000 gravesites of Revolutionary
War patriots was published in the 1993 NSSAR Revolutionary
War Graves Register. This information was compiled from SAR,
DAR, and other sources. A CDROM with a searchable index was released
through Progeny Publishing in January 1998. The price is about
$35. Call 1-800-565-0018 to order. They do not have a Web site.
- All the SAR Revolutionary War Grave worksheets filed prior
to mid-1993 were microfilmed by the Latter Day Saints (LDS).
These microfilms are available for viewing at the NSSAR Genealogical
Library or they may be obtained through LDS Family History centers
around the world. While most of the records are in alphabetic
order, some are in ordered only by the first letter - especially
the L's and T's, so you may have to order and look through all
the microfilms covering a given first letter. The film numbers
are
