William J. Yearsley Williamson Award
This award was originally known as the Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades Award and was originated by William J. Yearsley, a graduate of the school, dear friend and Past President of our chapter. After his death a few years ago, the chapter perpetuated his memory by renaming the award The William J. Yearsley Williamson Award. The award is a $200 U.S. Bond.This is an annual contest with the school making the selection of the winner, and the chapter is not involved in the decision. The award is for outstanding leadership, high academic standing and high moral character. The President of our chapter, accompanied by a few members of the chapter, makes the award at the school
