The Central Coast Chapter was founded in February 1991, by seven members of the ORSSAR living on the Pacific Coast, And is therefore the Centennial Coast Chapter of the ORSSAR (founded in 1891)

The Central Coast Chapter has one member who has served two terms as President of the Oregon Society;
Leslie B. Freeman (1993-1995)

One member who has served two terms as Vice President General, Pacific District, NSSAR:

One Member who has served and is still serving as National Trustee or Alternate Trustee:

One member who has served three terms as ORSSAR Registrar/Treasurer:
