Article VI, AMENDMENTS

This Constitution may be amended, or repealed only by a two-thirds or better vote of the members in good standing present and voting at any regular meeting of the ORSSAR, or at any special meeting called for that purpose by the Board of Managers provided that such document to amend or repeal this constitution shall have been submitted to the Board of Managers of the ORSSAR three months prior to such meeting, and a copy of said proposed document to amend or repeal this Constitution shall have been sent to each member of the ORSSAR in good standing at his last known address at least thirty days before such meeting at which it is to be acted upon. The notice period for this purpose shall run from the date on which the notice is placed in the United States mail.

This amended Constitution of the ORSSAR was approved at the Annual Meeting of the Society in the City of Eugene, Oregon, on this 22d day of January, 1991, and as further amended at the Annual Meeting of the Society in the City of Eugene on May 12, 2002.
