Article IV, OFFICERS
Section 1. The officers of the ORSSAR shall be President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Registrar, Chaplain and Trustees. Any or all of the last four discrete offices (Secretary, Treasurer, Registrar and Chaplain) may be filled by one member, if the ORSSAR so elects. Each active chapter shall be entitled to one chapter member-in-good-standing for each fifty chapter members-in-good-standing, or fraction thereof, as Trustee(s) from that chapter.
Section 2. The officers named in the preceding section, all presidents of active chapters, all past presidents of the ORSSAR, and all current national officers from the ORSSAR shall constitute a Board of Managers, and this board shall have the power to fill vacancies that may occur among the officers of the ORSSAR, except for the presidency when the elected Vice President is available to succeed to the presidency. Chairmen of all committees appointed by the President shall be Associate Members of the Board. They may speak on any issue during board meetings, but they shall not be counted for quorum purposes, and they cannot vote on matters coming before the Board.
Section 3. The officers shall be elected by a vote of the majority of the ORSSAR members in good standing voting. The officers shall hold office for one year, or until their successors are elected and installed.
