February 9, 2008 William Henry Harrison Parade and Ceremony in North Bend (off River Road). Parade 10:30, Memorial Observance 11:00. Date and time to be announced. Check Cincinnati Chapter SAR website or contact Cincinnati Color Guard for further information. A One Star Army General, sent by the President, normally does the presentation.

March 28-April 8, 2008 12 DAYS WITH THE PATRIOTS AND PIONEERS OF WASHINGTON COUNTY - the Marietta Chapter has rented the CAMPUS MARTIUS MUSEUM (Ohio Historical Society) from March 28th- April 6th in order to have special events (free and open to the public),  put on by various local groups, (SAR, DAR, SUV, Washington County OGS and Historical Societies and others).  Area Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H, area youth groups, schools are participating with special projects and events throughout the county. Special arrangements have been made with other museums in the area for free admission.
April 12, 2008 NEO Chapter Chardon Maple Festival in conjunction with Samuel Huntington Chapter. Kick off at 3:00 p.m. - Unit # 1A in Division III. May 3, 2008 The Captain Zeally Moss Chapter of the Illinois Society SAR is planning to honor Moses Hoskins at a dedication ceremony which will start at 2:00pm on Saturday. The plan is for placing two flag holders at the already marked grave site, which is at the

Dillon Cemetery, Elm Grove Township, Tazewell County, Illinois. Directions:  The cemetery is directly west of Bloomington and south of Peoria/Pekin, IL.  U.S. Route 155 runs north-south and about 10 miles south of Peoria, take exit 22.  Go west on CR-7 or Townline Road, about 3˝ miles to the town of Dillon.  At the crossroads in Dillon, take CR-1 or Springfield Road north to the Dillon Cemetery, about ˝ mile on left.  Alternatively, from the north, just come south on CR-1 or Springfield Road.  Cemetery is on the right, before the Dillon community.

May 24, 2008 Ewing Chapter along with the Point Pleasant, West Virginia Chapter, is having a grave marking ceremony in Mc Arthur, Ohio at the old cemetery on East Main Street at 2:00pm for Patriot John Wyman.
May 26, 2008 Memorial Day Parade-Blue Ash Ohio, a Combined SAR, DAR and CAR event. All members and families welcome participate and a trailer will be available, if you prefer to ride. Meet at 9:00am to 930am at the Presb. church at the corner of Reed Hartman Highway and Cooper Road. Color Guard and all other SAR members and family from around the state are welcome to participate. Arthur St, Clair Chapter The Arthur St. Clair Chapter meets the 3rd Wednesday at 6:30 PM except July, Aug and Dec. Meetings are held at the Corral Club Room, Golden Corral, 1660 North Bridge Street, Chillicothe, Ohio except April and Oct when a combined meeting with either the Camp Charlotte SAR Chapter or DAR is also held.
