1. _____ Submit NSSAR Application with "Junior" written in ink
at the top of the Application.
2. _____ Submit N.S.C.A.R. Application (or Record Copy of already
approved N.S.C.A.R. application).
3. _____ Submit NSDAR or N.S.C.A.R. Record Copies or NSSAR# for
required generations.
4. _____ Submit Birth Certificate and Certificate of Good
Standing.
5. _____ Submit updated documentation for older NSSAR, NSDAR,
and N.S.C.A.R. applications.
6. _____ Check for Signatures of: Applicant, State Registrar,
State Secretary, Sponsor and Co-Sponsor.
7. _____ If applicant is a member (current or inactive) of
N.S.C.A.R., his N.S.C.A.R. National Number must be
indicated, preferably by his name at Generation 1 on
NSSAR Application or typed in the Reference Section for
Generation 1 where the birth certificate is listed.
8. _____ When submitting Junior Applications with other New
Member Applications for the same family, the Family
and Junior Applications should be listed together on
the same Transmittal (one Transmittal Form for each
family).
9. _____ Junior Memberships should be listed on separate
Transmittal Forms (do not mix with New Member or
Supplemental Applications except as noted in item
#8 above)
10. ____ State Societies must contact N.S.C.A.R. for blank
applications. Questions regarding Junior Membership
should be referred to the SAR State Point of Contact
11. ____ Indicate on transmittal if applicant is C.A.R. transfer,
Youth Registrant Transfer or both.
