Jan. 25, 2008		 State Societies receive, evaluate, and judge Local Chapter Finalist applications
Feb. 4, 2008 DEADLINE for State Societies to submit their one state award finalist to the National Society
Feb. 28, 2008 to
Mar. 1, 2008		 Spring Leadership Meeting - Americanism Committee will meet to review state award finalists and designate a winner
Mar. 10, 2008 NSSAR announces the winner of the Tom & Betty Lawrence American History Teacher Award
April 1, 2008 All state finalists will receive a certificate of appreciation for their participation and be notified through the United States mail of award results
August 1, 2008 Request information regarding the summer graduate program from the award winner for award evaluation and promotion
