Reinstatement of Membership - Form #0918
Explanation There are several reasons to apply for reinstatement:
1) You stopped paying dues several years ago and consequently were dropped for
failure to pay your dues.
2) You told the chapter or state or national that you wished to resign from the SAR.
The Reinstatement Procedure:
The first step in Reinstatement is to contact your State Secretary to ascertain
the correct fees and procedures for Reinstating your membership through your State
Society. If you do not know the Secretary for your State Society, the
list is always published in the Summer issue of the SAR Magazine.

Reinstating into a State Society other than the one from which your membership was dropped.
If you have moved or wish to transfer your membership into a different State Society
other than the one from which your membership was dropped, you will need to complete
a Bylaw 19, Transfer and Reinstatement (Form #0918) You may download
the form at using the following link.

The form has active fields which may be filled on the computer before printing,
or you may print a blank form and complete the form by hand. The resulting
form should be printed on 8.5 by 11 paper. This does NOT have to be special
watermarked archival paper, any regular paper will do.
The completed form should be mailed to the Secretary of the State Society into which
you are reinstating your membership. Keep in mind that most State Societies
have different fee structures and that you should always check with the Secretary
for the correct fees and procedures for that State Society.
