Potowmack Ball
The signature event of the D. C. Society is the annual Potowmack Ball. While we have certainly put on other annual events for more consecutive years than we've sponsored the Ball, none compare to it in size, complexity, and pure fun. |
The 32nd annual Ball on November 28th, 2009 will present ten accomplished and beautiful debutantes (Oct. 16 count) from chapters of the Children of the American Revolution around the country. They will be received in formal splendor by a host of leaders of patriotic and lineage societies, including Edward Franklyn Butler, NSSAR President General, and the President General of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Linda Gist Calvin.
