Service To Veterans Medal 2002
Compatriot Douglas H. Stansberry was presented the first Service to Veterans Medal by President General Larry D. McClanahan in 2002.  Participating in the ceremony were Stanley A. Evans, Sr. (left) and Timothy R. Bennett (right).

The current activities of the National Committee include the design and qualifications of a Military Service Medal.  This would be for Compatriots who served their country in the military but not on the battlefield.  This medal is still in the development stages.

The committee is also reviewing the issuance of a gold version of the Service to Veterans Medal to be presented to General William C. Westmoreland Award recipients.
