Prescott Chapter

This Chapter was chartered February 1997
and is named after the city in which we meet.

The City of Prescott was named after William Hickling Prescott,
a famed 19th century historian, who was the grandson of
Col. William Prescott who commanded at the battle of Bunker (Breeds) Hill.

The Prescott Chapter meets on the 3rd Saturday of the Month at 12 noon (except July).  All meetings are at Casa Bonita Restaurant, 1317 E. Gurley St. at Hwy. 89, phone 928-778-3716, except the November meeting is held at St. Michael's ballroom on Whiskey Row in downtown Prescott.  Lunch reservations are not necessary, except for the November meeting.  For meeting information call John Thorne, at 928-541-1553.

Our chapter has 45 members presently but is very active. We encourage members to help and participate in our activities.  Our monthly lunch meetings are always open to visitors, spouses and family.  Men interested in joining the SAR Prescott Chapter should contact John Thorne, Chapter President and Registrar, 928-541-1553, jsthorne@commspeed.net.
