Becoming a Member

Membership in the Sons of the American Revolution is open to any male descendent of a person who served in the American revolution.  The steps to become a member are simple.  You will have to have documentation of your linage and proof of service.  The steps are as follows:
1.  Document your first three generations.  To do this, secure copies of  birth certificates, death certificates, and marriage licenses for yourself, your parents and grandparents.
2.  Select the Chapter in Arizona you would like to participate in and contact that Chapter's Genealogist.  The Genealogist will help you with the documentation and proof of service.
For additional information, review the materials on the website of the National Organization of the Sons of the American Revolution and/or contact the State Membership Chairman, J. Michael Jones, jjones3549@cox.net
