PG Dooley attends dedication of monument honoring James Forten, Black Hero of the American Revolution

PG Joseph Dooley traveled to Philadelphia PA on Sunday Aapril 6th 2014 to participate in the dedication of a monument to James Forten, Philadelphia's first Black Man to be honored for his service in the American Revolution.  Forten, born in 1766, joined the fight at the age of fifteen as a sailor on privateer ship that was attacking British shipping.

In addition to PG Dooley, the Color Guard of Philadelphia Continental Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution participated in the event.  See the full story at the following link:
