Keyhole to History CD Available in a New Generic Format

In response to State Society requests, a new generic format for the Keyhole to History CD will be available to members at the Spring Leadership meeting. Funded by the George Washington Endowment Fund, this reformatted Keyhole to History will identify the sponsor as being "the Sons of the American Revolution," versus a particular State Society. Originally a successful Florida Society project, these 52 public-service announcements highlight Revolutionary War events, battles, patriots, and the American flag.Special thanks are due to Patriotic Education Chairman Frank Hodalski and Don Blair for their diligent efforts in seeing this project through to completion. With over 40 years of broadcasting experience, Don Blair flawlessly narrated the new tag lines into the existing broadcast. These public-service announcements are available to all members for distribution to local radio stations, educational institutions, civic organizations, and community groups.

Visitors to the SAR website are invited to explore the new Keyhole to History blog under the Education/Youth menu. This blog was developed by Christy G. Keeler, PhD., with technical support from SAR Director of Operations Michael Scroggins. Visitors can log onto their selected date, listen to the one-minute history byte, and then post their comments about the segment. This interactive site will provide the SAR with the ability to obtain feedback about this program and direct our evaluations towards increasing the Keyhole to History audience.
