Application Preparation Manual	Application Preparation Manual-2013-03-07.pdf	One of the primary objectives of SAR in general, and of its State and Chapter Registrars in particular, is growing its numbers. Key factors in that process are the preparation, review, and approval of membership applications. The intent of this Manual is to help Registrars understand their responsibilities as Registrar and understand the elements of a successful application by discussing in general terms policies adopted by the NSSAR Genealogy Committee, and by providing examples both of best practices and common pitfalls. Minuteman Nomination	Minuteman-Nomination-2013-03-20.pdf	The highest award presented to a member by the National Society. It is presented for distinguished service rendered to the SAR on the National level. Members are selected by the Minuteman Committee from submitted applications. The Committee is appointed by the President General from previous recipients of the award. It is presented during the Annual Congress to no more than six recipients per year. More information can be found in the SAR Handbook. The Minuteman Nomination Form linked below is a form fillable PDF. It will let you fill-in the form on-screen, then print-out both form and data at the same time on 8.5 by 14 inch paper. PG-Cup-Americanism-Scoresheet	President-General-Americanism-Scoresheet-2013-04-01.xls	Updated 01 April 2013 This is the combined form for both the President General's Cup and the Americanism Award. The Form includes the score sheet as well as directions about the contest. Any questions should be directed to the Americanism Committee. NSSAR Genealogical Policies	NSSAR Genealogy Policies-2013-04-10.pdf	The Genealogy Committee of the NSSAR is responsible for forming the genealogy policies of the organization. Policies are formed by official action of the Committee during its meetings. A policy is becomes effective upon adoption and remains in effect until the policy has been completed or rescinded. The Genealogy Committee works closely with the Genealogist General and the NSSAR Genealogy Staff in the administration of the policies.
