State Medal Of Distinguished Service Medal	State-Distinguished-Service-2009-11-25.pdf	The State Medal of Distinguished Service, authorized in 1998, is the highest Medal that can be awarded by a State Society President during each year of his term of office. It is presented to a Compatriot for distinguished service rendered to the State Society on the state level during a State Society’s President’s term of office. The Medal should be presented at the State Society annual meeting at the conclusion of the President’s term of office.
